Gunshot Reported (8-8-2015)
On 08-07-2015 at 9:00 PM the White County Sheriff's Department responded to a report of a gunshot victim at a residence located at 1894 County Road 1950 East of Crossville Il. Upon arrival a male subject was located laying in the bathroom area with a large amount of blood on the floor around him.
Crossville First Responders began administering aid to the victim.
Two witnesses were present at the time of the incident. Statements and evidence at the scene indicated that this was a suicide and no foul play is suspected. The weapon was recovered.
The victim was identified as Ronald Lee Kirsch (04-04-1957). Mr. Kirsch was transported to Hamilton County Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead by the Hamilton County Coroner's Office. The Hamilton County Coroner's Office will conduct an investigation as well.

Roofing Accident (8-8-2015)
On 08-07-2015 the White County Sheriff's Office was advised of an incident at a residence located at 651 County Road 1393 East in the small community of Concord.
The caller advised two subjects had fallen off the roof while working at the residence. The White County Ambulance Service responded. Two subjects were transported from from the scene.
Further investigation revealed that the two subjects had been moving a piece of roofing equipment and came in contact with an electric service line and had not fallen from the roof.
Jetzari Gonzalez (07-21-1992) was transported to Hamilton Memorial Hospital where he was declared deceased by the Hamilton County Coroner shortly after his arrival.
Hector Gonzalez (08-14-1993) was transported to St. Mary's Hospital in Evansville and is in sable condition at this time.

ELIJAH I. JAMES (6-9-2015)
The White County Sheriff's Department has located ELIJAH I. JAMES, DOB 11-19-1989. White County has a warrant for James for UNLAWFUL RESIDENCY OF A CHILD SEX OFFENDER - 500 FEET OF VICTIM. James had been living at 124 North St., Maunie, IL
A request for information was placed on our website and we were able to obtain his location in Evansville, IN. Evansville Police Department located Mr. James and placed him under arrest. He will be transported back to White County after he waives extradition.

ZACHARY POWELL (6-9-2015)
The White County Sheriff's Department received information that Zachary Powell, DOB 6/20/1985 was at a residence in Grayville, IL. White County has a warrant for Powell for Domestic Battery.
Grayville PD was notified and located and arrested Powell on the warrant. He is held in the White County Jail on $500.00 bond.
I appreciate the help from the public in locating this individual.

JEREMY POTTS (6-8-2015)
A subject wanted on a White County Warrant for Escape has been located and arrested in Eldorado. Jeremy Dean Potts, DOB 5/11/1978, 1530 Roosevelt St., Eldorado, IL. was arrested June 6, 2015 and is currently being held in the White County Jail.
Potts had been sentenced to a 4 year term to the Department of Corrections and did not report to the White County Jail to serve that sentence. A warrant was issued on 5-12-2015.
